The String Paintings
The String Paintings, a body of work from 2004-2006, consist of purely abstract paintings with a quirky working method that incorporates an element of chance. The surface of the canvas is painted with brushes. Once dry, a network of strings is laid down over the surface and secured by tape to the sides of the canvas frame.
